Last month, I introduced to you the new St Johns Food Service. It has been a whirlwind of a month as I’ve been out and about meeting everyone from line cooks to leaders of the FLRA. I’ve enjoyed every minute of it and want to thank you for such a warm welcome.
When I meet with customers and prospective customers, I typically explain why being local and being small is actually our strength. I was born and raised here and most of our folks are from here, and I think we can all agree that Northeast Florida is a unique place. We understand the needs of our customers and how this market ebbs and flows, and we can turn on a dime to serve you. I feel some validation in the article below stating how being local is the hottest trend in the culinary market.
Below you’ll also find a list of fun cultural events coming up over the next few months. If you’re going to any of them, you’ll have a blast. If you’re running one of them, you’ll have a blast AND you’ll be working hard. Inevitably, you’re going to run out of something – ice, food, napkins, straws. This is where we come in – to help you in a pinch. This is what being local is all about. Need us. Call us. We’ve got your back.
And finally, I want to introduce you to StrawFish, one of the most interesting sustainable food service item I’ve ever seen. If you’re an establishment to whom the environment matters and/or have customers to whom it matters (and let’s face it, the environment matters a lot), then we have the best alternative to plastic straws (and cutlery and cups). Check out the article down below and call us for your sample pack or to meet with a SJFS sales consultant.
If there is anything at all you need and we can do better, please let me know. Email me directly by clicking here, and I will make sure you are taken care of. Make no mistake: we want to be your go-to purveyor for all your needs. For now, we’re going to learn about your business and how we can make it better.
Kind regards and we look forward to partnering with you,
